The Schvitz

C.E. Gleeson Constructors completed roof repairs at The Schvitz, a historic Detroit steam house and social club with nearly a century of local significance.

The project included installing a new steel truss with crane support and shoring, patching the wood roof structure, and adding a new roof skin, gutters, downspouts, and relocating the roof hatch. Temporary window access provided entry for equipment, with minimal mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work needed to preserve this iconic Detroit landmark.
