Charles Gleeson II
President/CEO
Charles Gleeson II is a graduate of Brother Rice and Ferris State University, where he earned a degree in construction management. He is a proud father of three sons and a daughter. In 1996, after leaving his role as vice president of Freeman-Darling Construction, he took a bold step by reviving the Gleeson family business. Through hard work and building trust with clients, Charles has grown the company significantly.
Brad Baker
VP Operations
Brad Baker, Vice President of Operations at C.E. Gleeson Constructors, was promoted after a successful tenure as Project Manager. He is now the Vice President of Operations. A graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Baker brings both expertise and leadership to his role, ensuring the smooth execution of projects nationwide.
Steven Sigmon
VP Southeast
Steven brings 45 years of experience across retail, commercial, medical, industrial, institutional, and multi-family projects. With a B.S. in Business Administration from LBC and advanced studies at UNCC, he has successfully managed the North Carolina office, leading strategic planning and Southeast operations.
Steven excels in budgeting, ensuring financial stability, and identifying new business opportunities. Recognized with a National Man Hours Safety Award, he holds a General Contractor License (L28446) and is active in the Contractors/Subcontractors Charlotte Council.
Dan Edick
VP Estimating
Dan brings over two decades of experience in the construction industry, currently serving as Vice President of Estimating at C.E. Gleeson Constructors, Inc., a role he’s held since June 2020. His tenure with the company spans 6 years and 7 months, including his previous role as Director of Pre-Construction Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Eastern Michigan University, completed in 2009, and has been instrumental in leading high-value projects throughout his career.
Rusty Trostle
VP Pre Construction
Rusty is a seasoned professional with decades of experience across various sectors. His portfolio includes over 8.9 million square feet of vertical construction, multifamily developments up to $110M, over 100 hotel projects, and specialized facilities such as Assisted Living (ALF) and Skilled Nursing (SNF). He attended Montana Tech for a bachelors equivalent civil engineering technologies.
Dave Tremonti
VP Construction Management
David has an impressive 30+ year career in the construction industry. Since September 2021, he has overseen construction management at C.E. Gleeson Constructors. A University of Michigan alumnus with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, he brings deep expertise in value engineering and construction management.

With a B.A. in Finance from Michigan State University and over 5 years at Cisco, he has honed his skills in account management and business growth. At C.E. Gleeson, Charles identifies new opportunities and builds key partnerships, leveraging his industry knowledge to drive success.
Stephen Valenti
Safety Director
Stephen brings over a decade of experience in construction safety. He holds a degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technology from Eastern Michigan University and various certifications, including US Compliance Systems, Confined Space Entry, and Fire Safety.
Karen Bowman
Chief Financial Officer
Karen brings over two decades of financial expertise to the team. With a background that spans various industries—from manufacturing and non-profit to construction—she is highly skilled in financial strategy, budgeting, and organizational leadership. Karen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Albion College and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Known for her clear communication and analytical approach, she has a proven track record of driving financial success and supporting long-term business growth.

Senior Project Manager
With a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Michigan State University and 20 years of experience in the construction industry, this Project Manager has a proven track record in overseeing and completing a wide range of projects, from commercial buildings to industrial developments.
Kevin Wilner
Senior Project Manager
Kevin Wilner holds certifications as an Associate Constructor (AIC), Lead Certified Renovator (EPA), Notary of America, and Water Restoration Technician (IICRC). He expertly manages projects from start to finish, ensuring cost and quality control, expediting shop drawings, and maintaining project schedules. Kevin leads progress meetings, prepares monthly invoices, and handles project close-out documentation, ensuring smooth and efficient project completion.
Mike Tierney
Project Manager
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Ferris State University and completed a two-year Building Trades Program at Oakland Technical Center. Certified in OSHA 30 Hour and Foreman Training, Mike specializes in project scheduling, quality control, and cost management. He leads progress meetings, manages subcontractor payments, and ensures timely project close-out by overseeing invoicing and documentation, guaranteeing a seamless project delivery.
Hannah Tache
Project Engineer
With a B.A. in English from Michigan State University and three years of experience, this Project Engineer has contributed to notable projects, including the ATAP Early Childhood Renovation, The Inn at St. John’s, and the City of Birmingham Ice Arena. Her work spans a range of commercial and public facilities across various states, including Michigan, Ohio, and North Carolina. She excels in project coordination, documentation, and communication, making her a valuable asset to her team.
