DESCRIPTION
C.E. Gleeson Constructors completed the Ocoee Village Center Retail B shell building in Ocoee, Florida, a 13,582-square-foot ground-up retail development designed as a cold dark shell for future tenant buildouts. The project included construction of a one-story, Type IIB sprinklered mixed-use shell with multiple tenant bays, concrete foundations and slab-on-grade, CMU and light-gauge metal-framed exterior wall systems, steel bar joists, steel beams, metal roof deck, and a single-ply TPO roof system over polyiso insulation. The exterior scope included aluminum storefront systems, insulated glazing, hollow metal rear doors, a drive-thru window opening, stucco assemblies, manufactured stone veneer, split-face CMU, parapets, wing walls, pre-engineered aluminum canopies, rainhoods, roof access ladder, scuppers, downspouts, overflow drainage, and building lighting coordination. Work also included demising wall construction, fire-rated assemblies, fire alarm and sprinkler infrastructure, tenant utility provisions, rooftop equipment curb coordination, roof penetrations, dumpster enclosure construction, bollards, concrete pads, and shell MEP systems for future retail, restaurant, and mercantile tenants.
