DESCRIPTION

C.E. Gleeson Constructors completed the Floor & Decor buildout in Lewis Center, Ohio, a 63,497-square-foot conversion of a former retail space into a large-format flooring retail store.

The project included selective demolition, removal of existing interior partitions, mezzanine and elevator demolition, interior slab removal and replacement, new slab-on-grade work, structural steel reinforcement, demising wall construction, storefront modifications, new vestibule construction, CPU entrance upgrades, overhead door modifications, loading dock work, truckwell improvements, compactor pad replacement, roof penetrations, smoke and heat vents, canopy work, exterior door infills, facade repairs, exterior painting, ADA parking upgrades, pavement repairs, restriping, site grading, and drainage improvements.

Interior scope included new sales and stock areas, offices, restrooms, design center buildout, polished concrete flooring, lighting, fixtures, high-piled storage racking, fire protection, fire alarm, low voltage/security, dock equipment, millwork, and national account vendor coordination.
