The City of Howell Fire & Ice Depot District is a public recreation and entertainment development centered around a new pavilion ice rink, marketplace building, and outdoor gathering areas.
The project includes selective removals, grading, utility replacement, new paving, concrete walks, curb work, accessible routes, retaining walls, pedestrian railings, guardrail, landscaping, and site lighting. Building construction includes concrete foundations, slab-on-grade, reinforced masonry walls, structural steel framing, steel joists, metal roof deck, pre-engineered pavilion framing, TPO roofing, standing seam roof elements, gutters, downspouts, and storefront openings.
The ice rink scope includes rink slab, dasher boards, chiller/electrical areas, Zamboni room with melting pit, skate rental, concessions, restrooms, lockers, and storage. The project also includes pergola features, fire features, water feature coordination, landscape restoration, and poured-in-place rubber surfacing at Howell Summit Gardens.
