DESCRIPTION

C.E. Gleeson Constructors completed the Club Studio buildout in Houston, Texas, a 47,361-square-foot fitness and wellness facility across the second and third floors of an existing three-story building.

The project included extensive selective demolition, full removal of the existing pool and spa with underslab plumbing and electrical systems, slab infill at recessed areas, existing slab leveling at the former pool deck, structural framing modifications, roof framing coordination, and new suspended steel support systems for specialty fitness equipment.

Scope also included TRX suspended HSS framing, boxing bag structural support, Unistrut support for overhead audio equipment, recessed slab and thick-bed mortar assemblies at wet areas, new saunas, locker rooms, recovery rooms, ride, reform, sweat, boxing, CS4, basketball, open fitness areas, and high-end millwork throughout.
