Gleeson Constructors Advantages
Safety
Job site safety is our most important
job. Gleeson Constructors has a formal company-wide safety
manual and policy, which details practices and processes for
company personnel and our subcontractors to follow. Weekly
on-site safety meetings help supervisors and trades to maintain
a safety mindset on the job, and special meetings are scheduled
when needed to inform workers about unique safety challenges.
Our safety focus has proven its value by giving Gleeson Constructors
a consistently low Experience Modification Rating. This helps
both the company and our customers by keeping our workers'
compensation costs and insurance premiums lower.
Open-Book Policy
The open and honest relationships we
have with our customers are sustained in part by our Open-Book
Policy. Our negotiated cost-plus-fee contracts allow the Owner
to review and audit our project accounting records. Our Open-Book
Policy is supported by our proven and sophisticated cost control
system, which enables us to honor our responsibilities to
the Owner by providing accurate management and accounting
of funds.
People of Quality
Our policy on hiring, both for company
and project subcontractors, is simple: Hire excellent people
to produce excellent work. Our new hires endure a rigorous
training program that exposes them to the three critical areas
of project management; construction engineering, construction
field supervision, and project estimating. Our “Manager
in Training” program provides a solid basis for further
growth, helping them develop the expertise that distinguishes
Gleeson Constructors from our competition.
Lean Operation
To keep costs down, Gleeson Constructors
runs a lean, efficient operation. We keep overhead down by
using the most advanced, integrated technology, coupled with
old school integrity, to perform project estimating, scheduling,
accounting, and management.
Direct Principal Involvement
We insure company accountability by
having our company principles directly involved on every project.
